There are specific examples where visitors to this website may submit information. This may be as feedback, or as a request for information. This website is managed through a Content Management System that is hosted by a contractor to University Hospital Southampton. The company is accredited to ISO27001 which is an assurance that it has a documented management system in relation to all areas of data security and privacy. Information that is submitted through the various forms on this website is only retrieved and handled by us in accordance with our responsibilities as a public authority.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, we have a duty to protect any personal information we hold. We do not pass on your details to any third party unless you give us permission to do so.
Cookies

Google Analytics sets a number of cookies in order to evaluate the use of our site and compile reports (web analytics).
YouTube (Google)
YouTube videos are embedded on our site. A YouTube cookie is used to provide web analytics in terms of the number of times a video has been watched or shared.

Our website contains a share button which enables visitors to easily share content via email and social websites. When content is shared, AddThis sets cookies to capture visitors’ sharing preferences for analytical purposes.
Facebook
Our website contains a Facebook 'like' button which enables visitors to the site to indicate they 'like' the Trust. When the Trust is 'liked', Facebook sets a cookie.

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust ("we" or "us" or "our") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you" or "your"). This privacy policy details how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit and use our mobile application (the "application"). Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, then please do not access or use the application.
The SORT PICU app enables user input of gender, weight and age, for the calculation and display of recommended drug and infusion doses. This information is not collected and is only stored whilst the drug calculator view is open. We do not collect, log or share any of your personal data, other than to communicate with you if you provide feedback.
We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the "Last updated" date of this privacy policy. You are encouraged to periodically review this privacy policy to stay informed of updates. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, will be subject to, and will be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised privacy policy by your continued use of the application after the date any such revised privacy policy is posted.
This privacy policy does not apply to the third-party online/mobile store from which you download and install the application, which may also collect and use data about you. We are not responsible for any of the data collected by any such third party.
What is personal data?
Personal data is information which can directly or indirectly identify you. For the purpose of this application no personal data will be used, however if you request feedback we will use the information you provide for feedback purposes only
Your location
The application uses Apple location services to verify that it is being used within England, Scotland or Wales, in order to comply with requirements currently in force for the distribution and use of the application as a medical device. We do not collect, log or share your location data.

The application contains links to third-party websites, that are not affiliated with us. Once you have used these links to leave the application, any information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this privacy policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your information.
